The first annual Columbia Grown Farm-to-Table event will take place on Saturday, April 7th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Reynolds Journalism Institute on the MU Campus. This event will bring together farmers and community members for dinner prepared with a variety of local ingredients.
Start the evening with happy hour featuring a signature cocktail then be prepared to enjoy a four-course dinner prepared with locally grown food and complemented by beer and wine pairings. Live entertainment will create a relaxed atmosphere for you to mix and mingle. Local farmers and the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture (CCUA) will speak at the event to share the importance of eating local and embracing the resources surrounding you.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the live entertainment will conclude at 10:00 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person. This event is hosted by Vox magazine and the CCUA. Find out more information about this event here.
