The third performance at Talking Horse Productions this season, Truffles and Nougat is a French restoration comedy created by Brad Stephenson and directed by Aaron Scully for the 70-seat theater located in downtown Columbia.
The play is set in Paris in 1815 with the LeFevre family as the center of the story. Fast-paced action brings the plot to life as lies are uncovered and secret motives are discovered amidst plenty of chocolate. Brad Stephenson, who created this entertaining comedy, is a graduate of Mizzou with a PhD in Theatre.
The Talking Horse Theatre is located in downtown Columbia in the North Village Arts District and features a moveable stage with seating for up to 70 to create an intimate atmosphere. Tickets are $13 for adults with seniors and students paying $11 with valid ID. The show on Saturday June 11 is at 7:30 PM while the Sunday June 12th show is a matinee at 2:00 PM.
