Get an early start on summer with the Heritage Weekend at Douglass Park in Columbia, MO. While it’s the unofficial opening of the park for the summer, the event is a wonderful time for families to enjoy the outdoors.
The event features live music, balloons, table games for both kids and adults and more family fun. This two-day event is scheduled for 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm for both Saturday and Sunday with a domino tournament on Sunday for partners and individuals. The event is free for all ages. The park boasts almost 9 acres of usable land with an amphitheater, baseball field, basketball courts and horseshoe pits along with a playground. Heritage Weekend offers a great time to visit the park for anyone new to the area or to meet up with friends for some outdoor fun.
