Spring Kids Fest – Columbia, MO
Columbia Mall is the place to be Saturday, March 26, 2016 for great kids’ fun at the Spring Kids Fest. A celebration of the season and lots of things kids enjoy, including balloon art, face painting, crafts, music, and more will entertain the whole family, with visits from some very important characters. Rumor has it the Easter Bunny will be there and photos can be taken to prove it!
And that’s not all, the Tryps theatre troupe is planning to surprise visitors with some of their royalty – kids who love TRYPS productions will be guessing which ones show up at the festival. The TRYPS theatre group has been entertaining kids in Columbia with their fairytale and Disney character productions for several years now, sponsored by Stephens College.
The Easter season provides opportunities for great family memories, and especially for children. Easter baskets and the Easter Bunny, make up some of children’s happiest occasions and Columbia Mall certainly enriches the community by generously providing a venue for celebration.
The entire family will enjoy the Easter season party at the Mall, so be sure to bring your camera and create memories to last for years to come. Festivals such as this contribute to children’s memories of idyllic childhood scenes, and as the TRYPS group motto suggests, through “great characters building great character”. Don’t miss it!
