Time once again for the annual Rhett’s Outdoor Challenge Run, and it is definitely challenging! The Run provides an honest work-out at 4.3 miles over biking-trail terrain, with just enough varying natural ground and twists, turns and hills. The Run receives great support from the community and beyond, and registration fills up, so register ASAP for a spot amongst the 150. Last year 25 extra spots were added, but there’s no certainty that will happen this year, so don’t wait.
The Trail is beautiful, through wooded and varying types of natural terrain, and receives raves from participants each year. In addition to a great running event, participants also receive long-sleeve performance fabric ROC 7k Run shirts, a hot breakfast from Lucky’s Market after the event, a bonfire at the meet-up site, a comfort station on the trail, and according to past participants, a great time is had by all!

5:00-7:00PM – Packet Pick-Up at the ARC (1701 W Ash St).
Saturday, January 23, 2016
7:45-8:50AM – Packet pick-up at Antimi Shelter, Cosmo Park.
9:00 am – Race begins.
9:30 am – Post-race food available.
10:15 am – Awards.
Earlier registration is recommended, at $35 in advance through noon on January 22. Pre-registration is required before 1/22/16. Postpone date in case of weather is Feb 6, 2016.
Furthermore, “the race is chip timed by Ready Set Results and unique awards are given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the top 3 males and females in each age group (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over)”.
